Jennifer McGuckin-Mignano is an associate attorney at Cowart Dizzia LLP, where she focuses on elder law, guardianship, and estate matters.

Before joining the firm, Ms. McGuckin-Mignano practiced for approximately 25 years at law firms in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her experience spans elder law, guardianships, estate planning and administration, and trusts, as well as products liability and medical malpractice defense, antitrust, business formation, taxation, employee benefits and ERISA, Social Security disability, landlord-tenant matters, mediation, and complex multidistrict pharmaceutical litigation. This breadth has sharpened her advocacy and her ability to explain complex issues clearly, anticipate challenges, and develop practical strategies tailored to each client's needs.

Ms. McGuckin-Mignano earned her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey, where she served the surrounding community through several legal clinics while working full-time as a law clerk at a large Philadelphia firm, gaining hands-on experience in products liability, premises liability, insurance, medical malpractice, employee benefits, and ERISA matters. She holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and earned her undergraduate degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and before the United States Tax Court.

Outside the office, Ms. McGuckin-Mignano is committed to community service, providing pro bono legal assistance to low-income and senior clients and participating in her church community and local youth organizations. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and kayaking with her husband, two sons, extended family, friends, and pets.
